Velzy "Popout" Mold Plug 9'1" 1962 (9)
This is a very interesting find! This is the original "plug" that was used for the mold, for the Velzy "Popout" from Bohemian Surf Properties in Honolulu. Shaped by Dale Velzy, it is the pintail "pig" shape that was used for hundreds of boards to follow! Later, a fin was added and color work applied, to make it presentable for possible resell.
