This is one of the veryrare Hobie Dick Brewer Model's that was designed for small waves. Built especially for Jock Sutherland to use in competition while on the mainland, this distinctive board is number #66 of a limited run of only 93 boards. It features multi-colored deck panels and pin lines and has the semi-speed fin in green and white. According to Sutherland, he showed up at David Nuuhiwa's house where he was staying and David was bummed that Jock's board was so colorfulwhich made him more noticeable to the judges, on the contest circuitin which they were both competing! Comes with a signed Leroy Grannis picture of Jock riding the board in competition. All dings have been professionally repairedto the original glass job and it even still has the City of Newport Beach Surfboard Permit! Pre-auction estimate: $5,000-$7,000.
