Tom Belloni "Pipeline Cutback" Art Set 1975
Tom Belloni was a Laguna Beach artist, who back in the early/mid 70's got his inspiration for his images from the surf magazines and movies of the era. He used to paint his various pieces and John Creed who owned the Chart House Restaurant, used to come by and buy the ones he liked. This particular piece takes it's inspiration from a shot of Bruce Raymond making a big sweeping cut back at Pipeline. This canvas, which measures 5' X 6', hung in the Chart House and looks as good today as it did thirty-five years ago! Pre-auction estimate: $3,000-$5000 NO RESERVE. Click here to Return to Program
