We are proud and honored to once again have master modeler, Malcolm Wilson offer this incredible compilation display, showcasing the evolution of the Hawaiian surf board over the last one hundred years! Showcasing the changes from the early planks, to the hollow board, to the laminated, to the balsa, on to the 60's foam, 70's short board, 80's pro boards and rounding out to the contemporary era, right up to tow boards. It is almost like a mirror image of all that is on offer at this year’s Hawaiian Islands Vintage Surf Auction. This piece is 24" X 34" museum quality scale model collection. Signed by the artist and master, Malcolm Wilson, hand shaped and hand painted in exact detail using the same materials as full sized boards. Acrylic cover, framed in mahogany.
