This is one of Salisbury's orignal pieces that was considered one of his most iconic. According to Salisbury, the car art had fantastic scale and detail. The driver was a self-portrait and the car a very authentically surf style drawing. Of the hundreds of images that ran in "Surftoons", SURFER and various other publications, this was acknowledged as one of the best.Original art size: 9.5" X 5.5", matted and framed.Pre-auction estimate: $2,500-$5,000.
