"Peek of the Week" - Week 11
Lightning Bolt shaped by Mark Richards 7'2" 1982 (10r)
This was Mark Richards personal board that he rode in the 1982 Pipeline Masters! Fully restored to like new condition, it features Lightning Bolts top and bottom, with Marks' personal sprayed fluorescent orange and green stripes. Oversize "MR" logo's, white glass on fin and inscription: "Rapid Transit", "Sept. '82". This board was donated to the Honolulu Hard Rock Cafe, where it hung with pride for over twenty years! Incredible provenance from the four time World Champion himself! Pre-auction estimate: $7500-$10,000 NO RESERVE!
